Make your Google Business Profile earn its place

For local demand, the profile is often the first and only page a customer sees. Treat it like a landing page.
Categories do most of the work. Choose the primary category that matches the service you most want enquiries for, then add secondary categories only where you genuinely deliver.
Complete the service list with real descriptions, add recent photographs, and keep hours accurate including holidays. Incomplete profiles lose to complete ones with similar relevance.
Reviews matter, but the request process matters more than the wording. A short, consistent ask after a completed job produces more reviews than an occasional campaign.
Finally, make sure the profile links to a page that answers the same question the searcher asked. Sending local intent to a generic homepage wastes the visibility you just earned.
